The STAR card is always a welcome sight in a reading. Its presence emits a calm, cool, detachment, a sense of knowing in the air that is both accepted understood on a higher frequency. By higher frequency I mean there is a fine energetic dance going on that creates a buzz that results in a clear and alert state of mind. The reader and/or seeker may not be able to pin point exactly what is happening, but there is no doubt that this is meant to be. Fate and destiny are popular keywords attached to meaning of the STAR card for this reason.
If the STAR card shows up in a love-related question the focus is more on the atmosphere of a relationship as in a friendly, positive connection but not necessarily one with overwhelmed with passion. Respect for each other uniqueness, quirks, individual self and personal beliefs/connections to stronger cosmic forces more accurately describes the union. That is, love is there yet somewhat distant. It is about the life force of each individual soul in it own right and how each is tuned into their own vibration. The freedom just to be, is arguably one of the best indications for true love.
The STAR does keep in time with everyone and everything around them. It should be noted that it can seem as though the seeker/subject is from a different world an odd mix of coming off as being right here, in the moment and simultaneously gallivanting through future realms.
Communication, innovation, the future, hope and inspiration are another handful of keywords to consider in the context of a reading. They all have to do with an energetic force that is, for lack of a better phrase, beyond us – in a positive way.
Current ASTROLOGY 2018 for the STAR
The STAR resonates with the zodiacal realm of AQUARIUS. This year it has more significance than ever in its interpretation as a DESTINY card. URANUS (the FOOL) is the modern ruler of AQUARIUS. It has made a move into TAURUS (the HIEROPHANT) after seven long years in the warrior sign ARIES. It harkens a paradigm shift – a new pattern emerging over the collective and operating within our personal lives in surprising ways. It inspires progress, innovation and moves that will affect our future in profound ways.
First, MARS (TOWER) the warrior and motivator, retrogrades between late JUNE and the end of AUGUST thus spending considerably more time in AQUARIUS than is the norm. (Please refer to the TOWER for more astrological details). When paired with the TOWER the STAR card reminds us to stay hopeful, that we are on the right path, even if the world seems to crumble around us. Some things have to be broken down so they can be built up stronger.
SATURN(The WORLD) is AQUARIUS’ traditional rule. It is also in an interesting position that reinforces the need to restructure in order to build a better future. In this case should the WORLD appear alongside the STAR it’s a clear indication that it is time to get your ducks in a row, end negative cycles and start contemplating what needs to be done to reach the light at the end of the tunnel. Put another way, it’s having faith that one day must end in order to fulfill the promise of a new and brighter day. In short, now matter how turbulent the situation, there is the feeling that ‘things are going to be okay.”
Lastly AQUARIUS is the site of the ECLIPSES this year. ECLIPSES begin and end patterns, create shifts in our life every six months. These shifts are often more noticeable in retrospect – marking turning points where ‘things changed’ or invokes the sentiment "this is where it all started." (refer to the STRENGTH card for more details on the ECLIPSES in 2018)
